* Interview with Chum Mey, one of the few known adult survivors of Tuol Sleng (S-21), the Khmer Rouge’s most notorious torture camp during the Cambodian genocide (1975–1979), reflecting on captivity, survival, and his confrontation with the camp’s former commander during the 2009 trial. * Interviews at Jalozai Refugee Camp with refugees who fled the Taliban insurgency in parts of Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). After being targeted by the Taliban—who specifically attacked tribal elders in Bajaur—they now face the harsh conditions of life in a refugee camp near Peshawar. In the interviews, they reflect on the roots of the insurgency, the Taliban, and life in the camp.
* Interviews with members of the Indigenous Fulniô people, the only Indigenous group in Northeast Brazil to retain their native language. They preserve distinct cultural and healing practices, extensive knowledge of medicinal plants, and a deep connection to the natural world.
